The Dallas Stars bolstered their blue-line depth at the 2019 NHL Draft, selecting defenseman Thomas Harley with the 18th overall pick.
Weight: 192 lbs
Club: Mississauga Steelheads (OHL)
Harley entered the draft as the 11th-ranked North American skater and second-ranked defenseman. He possesses a promising offensive skill set, and his 58 points for the Steelheads ranked eighth among OHL blue-liners with every player ahead of him on the list already being drafted to the NHL.
He's a strong skater with smart instincts. If he fills out and continues to develop the defensive side of his game, he could turn into a real strong piece for the Stars.
