Class of 2018 4-star guard Cormac Ryan has committed to Stanford University as of Sunday night, per Zach Braziller of the New York Post. The New York City native will now be switching coasts and heading to Palo Alto. Rated as a Top 100 recruit and the second-best player in the state of New York, Ryan plays at Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts, where the 6-foot-5, 175-pound guard has drawn significant interest from schools all across the country. He has had major powers such as Kansas, Villanova, Virginia, and Florida, all send him offers, while also hearing from Notre Dame, Northwestern, Penn, and Yale. Ryan becomes the Cardinal’s first recruit for the 2018 recruiting class. This upcoming season, they currently have four recruits expected to join them, including four-star combo guard Daejon Davis from Seattle and Kezie Okpala, a national top-40 recruit.
