Veteran guard Tony Parker recently took another step forward in his recovery from a surgically-repaired torn quadriceps tendon as he was sent down for a rehab assignment with the San Antonio Spurs G League affiliate, Austin Spurs. According to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated, the Spurs have made the move on Wednesday afternoon to recall the 35-year-old back to the roster. Although Parker didn’t play a single game in Austin, it did provide him an opportunity to work with the team in a practice setting.
