After missing the start of the season, Tony Parker may be moving one step closer to actually playing for the San Antonio Spurs again. Parker is still recovering from a quad injury that required surgery in May. But with the Spurs on a road trip for the next several days, Parker was assigned to the G-League's Austin Spurs so he could continue to rehab and get in some much needed practice. It's important to note that Parker isn't playing in a G-League game. The Austin Spurs are holding their training camp in San Antonio, so it makes sense for him to workout with the team while the Spurs are on a road trip.
