The San Antonio Spurs have fallen into a mid-tier team after being perennial playoff contenders under head coach Gregg Popovich. Now, it seems they are more than ready to make a big change if it means ushering a new winning era in San Antonio.

According to a report from Zach Harper of The Athletic, rising star point guard Dejounte Murray and impact playmaker Derrick White are both “gettable” at the right price or deal. While it is important to note that this doesn’t mean they are on the trading block, it just shows the Spurs are keeping their options open in a bid to return to relevance and championship contention.

“The Spurs have to figure out where they want to be as a franchise and what their plan is moving forward. They’re kind of stuck in the middle right now. Murray and Derrick White could both be gettable, according to league sources.”

Now this is certainly an intriguing prospect for the Spurs.
