This could have been Jake Peavy's last start at U.S. Cellular Field as a member of the Chicago White Sox. "That was the furthest thing from my mind," Peavy told reporters Thursday night following the Sox's 3-2 loss to the Rays. "It really was. I hope not, but I didn't give it any thought. Everything was focused on trying to find a way to win." Peavy did his best, limiting a hot Rays team to two runs in 7 1/3 innings. But the Sox couldn't muster enough offense or sound play as they face the task of trying to wipe out a two-game deficit in the American League Central with six games left.
