Cavanaugh played 21 minutes a game last year, scoring 8.8 points per game and 3.8 rebounds. Despite his size (6'9"), Cavanaugh spent a solid amount of time on the perimeter and attempted 67 threes over the course of the season, shooting 31% from outside the arc. With an offensive efficiency of 102.5, Cavanaugh was the third most efficient player on offense for the Demon Deacons behind the two graduating seniors Travis McKie and Coron Williams.
