The San Francisco 49ers have traded former starting cornerback Kenneth Acker to the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday for a seventh-round selection in 2018 according to sources. Although terms of the deal are agreed upon, Acker must still pass a physical for the trade to be executed. The move comes with a little bit of surprise. Acker, who was drafted by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, had done pretty well for himself during his short time in the league. After missing his entire rookie season with a foot injury that forced him to go on the Injured Reserve List, he burst onto the scene in 2015 and took over a starting cornerback spot in San Francisco.
