New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who was kept out of Wednesday's practice due to an illness, was back at the facility Thursday morning, according to a league source, and the expectation is he will return to practice Thursday. Brady's absence on Wednesday was the first practice he missed all season, as he and long snapper Danny Aiken both missed the session due to illness. That left Ryan Mallett as the lone quarterback on the field for the Patriots, as he handled duties as both the first-team signal caller for the Patriots, while also emulating Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning for the Patriots defense.
