Ryan Smyth went 1,687 days between Edmonton Oilers regular-season games, but he didn't forget what do on a game night. "Yeah, I picked up three pucks and threw them to the fans at the end of warmup. Just like I always did," said Smyth. Smyth left the Oilers on Feb. 27, 2007, with 770 games for the Oilers on his resume. He's now at 771, just 24 behind current Oilers assistant coach Kelly Buchberger, who holds down fourth spot on the all-time games-played list. Oilers president Kevin Lowe leads at 1,037, with Hall of Famers Mark Messier (851) and Glenn Anderson (845) second and third.
