Tobias Harris stepped up when the Philadelphia 76ers needed him most, and head coach Doc Rivers couldn’t be happier as the Sixers star showed what he is truly capable of.

After leading the Sixers to a pivotal 104-99 Game 6 win to force a do-or-die against the Atlanta Hawks, Harris got an interesting comparison from Rivers. According to the champion tactician, he is seeing a lot of Bernard King in Harris, which is also the reason why he is calling him that name more often than not.

Simply put, Harris has King in his game and Rivers believes his forward can be that type of star player.

“I keep telling him, Bernard King. I don’t know how many more times I can use that name to him because that’s who he plays like, and that’s who we want him to be,” Rivers said of Harris, via Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.
