The Philadelphia 76ers might just a catch a break for once. Center Joel Embiid, who suffered a wrist injury after coming back from a left ankle setback on Wednesday, is not expected to miss significant time as his injury is not believed to be serious, according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps.
Sixers head coach Brett Brown was rather mum on the subject:
“I really don’t know a lot to share,” Brown said after the game. “I do know [Embiid’s wrist] was whacked twice. As it relates to what’s next, or the evaluation of it, I am sorry, I can’t comment on that.”
