The Philadelphia 76ers enjoyed a comfy lead over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, getting ahead early, as they honed into a struggling C.J. McCollum, who hit only one of his 14 field goal attempts for the game. The game was a foregone conclusion in favor of the home team’s fans, who chanted “We want Okafor” in hopes to see the now-ostracized center Jahlil Okafor play a few minutes down the stretch after he’s played in only two games this season. Okafor wouldn’t enter the game, as head coach Brett Brown failed to appease Sixers fans with the big man still on the trade block.
