The 76ers used a balanced scoring attack and had a good shooting night on Monday as they ended their five-game losing streak with a 106-97 victory over the Brooklyn Nets at the Wells Fargo Center. With Spencer Hawes leading the way with 24 points and 10 rebounds and seven assists, the Sixers placed six players in double figures. Jrue Holiday notched his 17th double-double of the season (15 points, 11 assists). Thaddeus Young notched his 17th double-double, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds. The win was the Sixers' second in their last 14 games and it improved their record to 24-39. The Nets (37-27) were led by Deron Williams' 27 points and 13 assists. They began the night 21/2 games behind New York in the Atlantic Division.
