Another week, another injury to a Miami Dolphins quarterback.

Backup Teddy Bridgewater sustained an elbow injury and head injury following a hit on Miami’s opening drive on Sunday. He would leave the game and the Dolphins initially listed him as questionable to return.

He would soon be later downgraded to out in concussion protocol.

Bridgewater was then taken out of the game as a result of the NFL’s new concussion protocol. A spotter stated they saw him exhibit signs of ataxia after the play. The NFL defines ataxia as “abnormality of balance/stability, motor coordination or dysfunctional speech caused by a neurological issue.”
