Shinji Kagawa wants to leave Manchester United in January to salvage his dream of playing in next summer’s World Cup. The Japan international fears his lack of appearances for the defending Premier League champions will harm his chances of being selected in country’s squad heading to Brazil, reports the Sunday People. Kagawa cost £17million when he was signed from Borussia Dortmund in June last year but he has been largely frozen out of the United side since David Moyes took over from the retired Sir Alex Ferguson, making just three Premier League appearances this term.
