Bayern Munich II’s Leon Dajaku is an intriguing prospect within the confines of Säbener Straße, but his talent and desire for a first-team breakthrough have also caught the eye of several other clubs, who might be better suited to offer immediate first-team playing time.
Sheffield United, Swansea City, Sassuolo, Torino, St. Gallen, and FC Utrecht are reportedly all eager to bring in the talented 19-year-old winger on loan. Dajaku had four goals and four assists in 29 appearances for Bayern Munich II last season and also had two showings with the first team that only covered 11 total minutes. Per Goal, Dajaku had “a collection of strong showings for Bayern’s second string in the third tier of German football last season.”
Goal is also reporting that Bayern Munich is toying with the idea of having Dajaku transition to right-back, with the intention of “converting him into a buccaneering full-back. A similar approach was taken with Alphonso Davies, and the Canadian youngster has thrived in a left-back berth.”
