San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the team has signed forward Tyler Kennedy to a two-year contract. Last season, Kennedy played in 46 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, posting 11 points (six goals, five assists) and 19 penalty minutes. Kennedy also played nine playoff games with Pittsburgh, registering five points (two goals, three assists), a +6 rating (1st on the team) and two penalty minutes. In 2011-12 Kennedy tallied 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists), a +10 rating and 29 penalty minutes. In six postseason games he posted six points (three goals, three assists), a +1 rating and two penalty minutes.
