Sharks forward Adam Burish will likely miss the rest of the regular season with a left hand injury but could be back for the playoffs, Sharks coach Todd McLellan said Thursday. Burish had his surgery Wednesday to insert two pins in two fingers in his left hand. He tweeted out before and after photos Thursday of his hand, the first showed his mangled fingers and the second one being the X-Ray that showed the pins in his fingers. Burish injured his hand blocking a shot by Oilers defenseman Jeff Petry at 14:05 of the second period in Tuesday night's 5-2 victory over Edmonton. After blocking the shot, Burish skated directly to the Sharks dressing room. The Sharks have eight regular season games left, including Thursday's contest against Winnipeg, before the start of the playoffs.
