The Sharks' Logan Couture skated Friday for the first time since undergoing hand surgery and Todd McLellan said that is a good sign of progress. "He's through that danger period of being damaged any more and now he's starting to work on his conditioning again," the coach said. "We hope everything goes as planned and he'll be right on time." The Sharks said Couture would be out three to four weeks when he underwent the procedure on his right hand Jan. 8. "I think we're right on schedule — it's been nine days since surgery so it's good to get back on the ice," said Couture, who was on the ice as part of his conditioning, but did a little stickhandling while he was out there.
