The Sharks made a number of roster moves, including activating defenseman Brent Burns from injured reserve, prior to Saturday’s game with Phoenix. Burns made his season debut after missing all of training camp and the first 10 games with a lower body injury. He had sports hernia/groin surgery last May, but had been medically cleared by the club in October. Burns was paired with Brad Stuart, while Dan Boyle and Marc-Edouard Vlasic rounded out the top four. Jason Demers and Justin Braun were also active. Defenseman Matt Irwin was reassigned to Worcester, freeing up the roster spot for Burns.
