The Miami Dolphins have been making more news off the field than on it after their botched handling of star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

The vast majority of the NFL community wondered why Tagovailoa was allowed to play against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night, and those concerns were correct after he was slammed hard on the turf and knocked unconscious.

He was briefly hospitalized after being stretchered off the field.

Shannon Sharpe recently talked about the situation involving Tua Tagovailoa on ‘Undisputed.’ He stated that the quarterback should retire from the game because his life off the field could be severly impacted by these head injuries.

“I just think to it, you have to take a step back and say, ‘It’s okay.’ I understand football is very important. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was a little bitty boy. I wanted to play quarterback in the National Football League. But at what price moving forward is the risk worth the reward?”
