Sergio Agüero could miss up to a month due to a hamstring injury, with Manchester City's top scorer appearing certain to sit out the opening Champions League last-16 first leg against Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium on 18 February. Agüero suffered the problem in Wednesday evening's 5-1 defeat of Tottenham Hotspur when after opening the scoring the striker was taken off at half-time. Agüero tweeted later that this was a "precaution." But Manuel Pellegrini stated the forward, who has 26 goals in 25 appearances, could be unavailable for four weeks. "Maybe one month but we are not sure now," said the manager, who shrugged off Agüero's absence.
