The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has re-signed forward Corey Cowick to a one-year, two-way contract. Cowick, 23, spent the entire 2012-13 season with the American Hockey League’s Binghamton Senators, recording a professional career high 16 goals, 19 assists and 85 penalty minutes in 72 regular-season games. The Ottawa native also played in each of the B-Sens three playoff games. The Senators’ sixth-round pick (160th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Cowick has scored 22 goals, 28 assists and added 143 penalty minutes in 150 career AHL games. He has recorded 27 points, including 13 goals, in 53 career ECHL games.
