It has been a quiet season for Bucs backup DT Sealver Siliga, who has six tackles in the seven games he has been active. He made national headlines with a gesture of kindness on Christmas Eve, leaving a $1,000 tip for the staff at a local Applebee’s after dinner Sunday night after the team returned home from its loss at Carolina. TMZ first got word of the big tip, reporting that Siliga asked how many staffers were working on Christmas Eve and leaving $1,000 when told there were 10 on the shift. Siliga declined interview requests, saying he didn’t intend for his act to be made public. "I want to take this time to say thank you to everybody that has sent their kind words over the past couple of days," Siliga wrote on Twitter. "My act of service at Applebee’s was not intended to go viral, however, I am grateful and blessed to be able to spread a little Holiday cheer." Bucs coach Dirk Koetter was asked about Siliga on his weekly call-in show Friday and said he loves to hear about such kindness from his players.
