The Seattle Seahawks may be dealing with some injury issues, but they have good news on guard Luke Joeckel. After missing five games following knee surgery, it appears that Joeckel could be back in the starting lineup this week for Seattle. “There’s a really good chance,” head coach Pete Carroll said on his radio show Monday morning (h/t Pro Football Talk). “Luke wants to play and that’s important and he’s ready to go. That could likely happen. “With Luke coming back and him and Duane (Brown) playing on the left side, that’s a pretty good group right there.” Joeckel is a former first-round pick (second overall) of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Although he never panned out to the level that would be expected, considering how high he was drafted, Joeckel did develop into a useful starter on the offensive line.
