Texans quarterback Matt Schaub has had a rough few weeks. Heading into last Sunday's matchup against the Rams he had thrown pick-sixes in four straight games and then he suffered a tough-to-look-at lower leg injury in the midst of the team getting blown out at home. With Schaub's job already hanging in the balance some fans at Reliant Stadium thought it was perfectly reasonable to cheer the injured quarterback as he lay on the field writhing in pain. Everyone who wasn't a sociopath condemned the behavior and that included members of the Rams who told Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson that it was "messed up" that fans would applaud their own quarterback going down. On Monday the same day coach Gary Kubiak said whether Schaub plays Sunday will be an "end-of-week decision" Schaub talked about his injury his prospects for suiting up against the Chiefs and the fans. "It popped and must've come out and come back in place" Schaub said during an appearance on KILT-AM via the Houston Chronicle. "…It could have been drastically worse. … “I'm going to do everything I can to be ready to go.”
