Schalke are eyeing a surprise loan move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, according to reports in Germany. Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has continued to use Lopez in the league, with Casillas installed as first-choice goalkeeper in the Champions League. As such, Schalke are confident they can prise the Spain international away from Madrid during the forthcoming January transfer window.
