The Philadelphia Flyers are bringing back some of their toughness, inking Samuel Morin to a new one-year contract. The deal will carry a salary of $750K and keep the 6-6 behemoth in the only organization he’s ever known.

Morin, 26, was at a career crossroads heading into this past season and decided to try his hand on the wing. Though he was never expected to provide much offense at that spot, a midseason switch back to defense has seemingly extended his NHL career.
