The New Orleans Saints didn't take long to get over their first-game jitters. On either side of the ball. The Saints' first team torched the Oakland Raiders on Friday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. And despite a few hiccups by the second and third teams New Orleans held on for a 28-20 win. Quarterback Drew Brees went 14-of-18 for 202 yards hitting Nick Toon for a 56-yard gain and threw a 16-yard touchdown to Kenny Stills on the next series. Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn didn't fare as well. The former LSU quarterback was sacked five times by five Saints. He finished 12-of-16 for 124 yards and a touchdown but spent much of the game running from the relentless pressure the Saints applied.
