The Buffalo Sabres will be without one of their top defensemen for a short while. Sabres interim coach Ted Nolan said Henrik Tallinder would miss 1-2 weeks with an upper-body injury. Nolan said he suffered the injury on Sunday against the Washington Capitals. Tallinder’s absence will open up a spot for Alexander Sulzer to rejoin Buffalo’s top six along the blue line. Sulzer was out of that mix recently after being one of a handful of players to come down with the flu.
