The Buffalo Sabres announced Monday that star forward Tage Thompson is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will miss tonight’s game against the Montreal Canadiens.
The injury occurred during Friday night’s 5-4 victory over the New Jersey Devils. Thompson had collided with Devils forward Timo Meier and awkwardly went down. Thompson was in distress and made his way to the bench and, eventually, the locker room.
