With the Ravens set to face the 49ers in the Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, this is a fair question. The Falcons have repeatedly stated and re-stated their position of wanting to win the Super Bowl. Joe Flacco, a less accurate gunslinger with a mammoth arm, was selected 15 picks behind Matt Ryan in the 2008 draft and is 60 minutes away from a Super Bowl ring-fitting ceremony. Ryan had a playoff breakthrough this season, but will be remembered this offseason for his interception, a fumbled shot gun snap that was recovered by the 49ers and the final drive that stalled on the 10-yard in the final minutes of the game. Owner Arthur Blank made sure that everyone knew the franchise's mission after last season's debacle against the Giants. They all still preaching it song and verse. General manager Thomas Dimitroff recently said the franchise was not satisfied winning one playoff game. Coach Mike Smith repeated the mantra at his end-of-season presser. "It was not our goal this year just to win a playoff game," Smith said.
