Ryan Garbutt received a little supplemental discipline to go with his five-minute major and game misconduct for spearing Corey Perry on Friday night. The Stars forward was fined the specific amount of $1,474.36 for the incident, the league announced on Saturday. The odd number is the maximum allowed under the CBA based on Garbutt's salary, hence why it's not the $5,000 Milan Lucic was docked for a similar incident earlier this postseason. Spearing has been a bit of an epidemic this postseason already, especially spearing of the cup-check variety.
