Two of the New York Rangers' top players may not be ready for the start of the 2013-14 regular season. The team announced Friday afternoon that forwards Ryan Callahan and Carl Hagelin both underwent surgery on Friday to repair torn labrums in their left shoulders. The team didn't announce an official timetable for either player to return, but according to Jim Cerny, the beat writer for the Rangers' website, both players are expected to need four to five months to recover. That could put both out through almost November.
