When Russell Westbrook rolled his left ankle with 5:46 left to play Thursday night at Orlando, he collapsed to the court, clutching his foot in concern. Immediately, it was clear that the Thunder's point guard was in a great deal of pain. But he didn't stay down long. In fact, he bounced right up from the baseline under the basket closest to the Magic's bench. He never gave the Thunder's medical staff a chance to make the always frightening full-court walk out to check on him. Within seconds, Westbrook was walking it off. He took a few breaths, remained in the game and marched to the free throw line to make two foul shots. Westbrook played the next five minutes, despite clearly being hobbled, and contributed two big assists in the final three minutes before exiting with 20 seconds remaining.
