Memphis Grizzlies multi-fasceted forward Tyreke Evans has started to draw interest from many teams around the NBA as this Feb. 8 trade deadline nears. Among them are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Miami Heat, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Recent reports indicated the Philadelphia 76ers were working on a trade to try to acquire the Memphis standout, but both sides couldn’t agree on the Grizzlies’ main compensation for his services — a first-round pick. “It going to come to a team giving them what they want,” said the source. Evans is having a career year with the Grizzlies, posting the best averages since his rookie season, averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.
