Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert participated in the team’s morning shootaround and will be available when the Western Conference franchise takes on the Washington Wizards on Monday evening, according to radio announcer David Locke. Gobert has not played since back on November 10 due to a bone bruise in his right knee. In the 12 games that he did play prior to the injury, Gobert averaged 13.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks over 33.8 minutes per contest while shooting 62 percent from the floor and 71.7 percent from the free-throw line. The 25-year-old came over to the NBA from France and was originally selected by the Denver Nuggets in the first round (27th pick overall) of the 2013 NBA Draft. However, he was then immediately dealt to the Jazz.
