Before every NBA game, you'll see players asking to get additional tickets for friends and family with team staff scrambling to oblige. The process took an odd twist on Sunday in Los Angeles, when Rudy Gay learned he was about to be traded to the Sacramento Kings by the Raptors. Gay was informed about the pending deal not long before he was to check out of his hotel and board the team bus to the arena. Shortly thereafter, Gay and Quincy Acy, who was also Sacramento-bound, politely asked for refunds for the tickets they had purchased, because their guests would no longer be attending.
