The Royals agreed to terms on a one-year contract with outfielder Alex Gordon on Thursday, thus taking care of all of their unsigned arbitration-eligible players. Gordon, who's two years away from free agency, will make $4.775 million in 2012, with a $25,000 bonus if he reaches 700 plate appearances, according to MLB.com's Dick Kaegel. The No. 2 overall Draft pick in 2005, Gordon finally broke out last season, batting .303 with 23 homers, 87 RBIs and 17 stolen bases while winning the American League Gold Glove Award in left field.
