Hope that Alex Tanguay might have a quick return from a knee injury appears to have vanished. The Avalanche left wing, who turns 34 this week, will continue to be out indefinitely, coach Patrick Roy said Saturday. "We don't know when he'll be back," Roy said. Beyond that, there has been nothing specific about Tanguay's injury or the prescribed treatment ahead. He has not been seen much around the Avalanche facilities, nor has he skated. His absence has hurt the Avs since he went down 15 days ago against the Montreal Canadiens.
