Roma chief Monchi has admitted Liverpool got a bargain with the price they paid for Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian scored his 30th goal of an incredible first season at Anfield against Porto on Wednesday night. Liverpool splashed out £34m to sign Salah in the summer in a club-record deal, before more than doubling it as they snapped up Virgil van Dijk. But Monchi has conceded Salah is worth considerably more and Roma should have pushed for more money. "At the end of the day, we could reach €50m with bonuses, but at that moment we had to sell and that was an important option," Monchi told Sky Sport Italia.
