Troy Tulowitzki is doing everything he can to salvage something from this lost season. The shortstop took batting practice Tuesday for the first time since undergoing arthroscopic surgery June 25 to remove scar tissue that was irritating a nerve in his groin. "I'm moving forward. Everything felt good," Tulowitzki said. Rockies trainer Keith Dugger called Tulo's ability to take batting practice "very encouraging." Initial estimates called for Tulowitzki to be out about eight weeks, but Tulo has said that he won't return to game action until he's completely healthy.
