The Rockies are limping into Philadelphia. Star left fielder Carlos Gonzalez was scratched from the starting lineup just minutes before the first pitch of Sunday's game against the Tigers because of soreness in the back of his right knee. He is listed as day to day. Monday, shortstop Troy Tulowitzki will undergo an examination by Dr. Bill Meyers, a Philadelphia-based surgeon, who will determine whether Tulowitzki has a sports hernia. If he does, and if surgery is required, Tulowitzki could be out of action for six weeks. The Rockies likely won't know about Tulowitzki's fate until Tuesday.
