The Houston Rockets were already undermanned on the frontline entering tonight's showdown with the Boston Celtics. Their backcourt will have decidedly less depth as well, as point guard Chris Paul is listed as out for tonight's game. The team updated Paul's injury status this morning to list him as out with a left adductor strain. In addition, forwards Luc Mbah a Moute (right shoulder) and Troy Williams (right knee MCL sprain) will also miss the game due to injury. Paul's absence comes a day after the Rockets announced starting center Clint Caplea would miss at least the next two games with a right orbital fracture. The Rockets had been hopeful that Paul might suit up, but were unsure about that after he experience soreness after Sunday's practice, writes Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
