As the saying goes: “You’re your own worst critic.” That’s how Houston Rocketsguard John Wall takes his approach to his play. As of late, he thinks the way he has been playing deserves to be flushed down the toilet. Following Houston’s 101-94 defeat to the Miami Heat, the 30-year old once again felt like he played like crap.

That’s a brutally honest take right there. The toilet-worthy play has become the theme of Wall’s week. Previously, the 6-foot-4 guard suggested the Rockets have been playing horrendously on defense. Now, he takes the blame for stinking up the place once again as Houston lost its fourth consecutive outing on Thursday night.

Stats wise, Wall didn’t have a particularly horrible game. He finished with 17 points but shot just 5-of-13 from the field. He did drain four 3-pointers and hand out seven dimes. However, Wall committed five turnovers.
