Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo had to leave Friday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins with an apparent thumb injury on his right hand. Luongo got his arm pinned against the net by Pittsburgh Penguins forward Conor Sheary in the third period, and had to be replaced by James Reimer. Staying healthy was an issue for the 38-year-old Luongo last season, as a hip injury limited him to just 40 games.
