Boston Celtics stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been no stranger to criticism this year. Boston entered the year with championship aspirations but have not looked like a title contender, as they currently sit in ninth place in the Eastern Conference. As the two best players on the Celtics, Tatum and Brown have been the targets of a lot of criticism, both from those inside and outside the franchise. The latest critic of Tatum and Brown is a Celtis legend, who spoke to SiriusXM NBA Radio in an interview.

“Brown and Tatum don’t have the ability to make their teammates better,” the Celtics great said flatly. “One of the reasons we were so successful going back to the 80s was because of Larry [Bird’s] ability to make people around him better.”
