The Denver Broncos are one of the first teams to begin their training camp this offseason. Newly hired offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello had some high-praise for Phillip Lindsay.

When talking with the media, Scangarello discussed what makes Lindsay a unique running back in the NFL. Scangarello said that Lindsay is one of the few players who can win man-to-man matchups. Here is the clip of Scangarello speaking about Lindsay.

In 2018, the Broncos brought in two rookie running backs in Lindsay and Royce Freeman. Many believed that Freeman would get the nod but Lindsay earned his way up the depth chart.

Lindsay was one of the best feel-good stories last year as he went from being undrafted to one of the best running backs in 2018. The undrafted rookie became just the third undrafted running back to rush for over one-thousand yards in NFL history.
