Darrelle Revis may be in his final days with the Jets but he is not speculating on it. “There’s been a lot of talk,” the cornerback said in an interview with the NFL Network last night. “We’ll see what happens, if I’m there or if I’m not. But that’s the next step. That’s the next phase for me in my career, these next couple of weeks.” The Jets have been in trade talks with the Buccaneers for more than a month. If the trade happens, it could come in the days leading up to the NFL Draft on April 25. Revis must report Monday to New Jersey for the start of the Jets’ offseason program or lose $3 million in bonus money. He has been rehabbing his surgically repaired knee in Arizona and would prefer to return there after meeting with his surgeon, Dr. Russell Warren, on Monday and seeing the Jets team doctors. New Jets GM John Idzik is forcing Revis to show up for the team’s workouts, though. Revis will be in New York visiting Warren, the Giants’ team doctor, Monday before joining his teammates at the Jets’ training center. The team has an 8 a.m. meeting Revis will miss.
